1. Who we are

Creator900 ("we", "us") operates creator900.com and an analytics service that measures the reach, audience engagement and momentum of content creators. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. Contact us at hello@creator900.com.

2. YouTube API Services

Creator900 uses YouTube API Services to access public YouTube data. By using features of Creator900 that rely on YouTube data, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Information obtained through YouTube API Services is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

Creator900 is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube or Google.

3. Information we collect

Public YouTube data

Through the YouTube Data API, we collect publicly available information about the channels we track:

• Channel information: channel ID, handle, title, description, country, creation date, topic categories, and public subscriber, view and video counts.
• Video information: video ID, title, description, tags, publish date, duration, category and public view, like and comment counts.
• Public comments: comment ID, text, publish date, like and reply counts, and whether the creator wrote it.

For comments, we replace the commenter's channel ID with a salted one-way hash before storage. This lets us count returning commenters without knowing who they are. We do not store commenter names, profile pictures or profile links, and we never show information about individual commenters to anyone.

We do not download videos or audio, and we do not collect transcripts or private data. We do not currently offer sign-in with Google or YouTube, so we do not access any account's private information.

Other public sources

We collect public page-view statistics from Wikipedia (Wikimedia) for creators who have a Wikipedia article.

Information you give us

If you email us, we receive your email address, name (if included) and the content of your message.

Website visits

This website does not use cookies, advertising, or analytics trackers. Our hosting provider processes basic technical information, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Our fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser information when a page loads.

4. How we use information

• To calculate aggregate metrics and scores about creators' channels, such as reach, the share of returning commenters, overall comment sentiment and growth trends.
• To classify comment text automatically (for example, positive, neutral or negative) as an input to aggregate metrics. We do not use comments to infer anyone's personal characteristics, such as race, religion, health or sexual orientation.
• To respond to your messages and operate our pilot program.
• To secure our systems, prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

5. How we share information

• Service providers that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations: website hosting (Vercel) and automated text classification (Anthropic, which processes comment text without commenter identities).
• Customers: when our service launches, creators and businesses will see scores and aggregate metrics about channels. They will not see individual comments linked to commenters, commenter hashes or other commenter-level data.
• Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Creator900, our users or the public.
• Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

6. How long we keep information

We follow the YouTube API Services Developer Policies:

• Comment text, video titles, descriptions and tags, and channel titles and descriptions are deleted or refreshed within 30 days of when we collected them.
• Public statistics (such as view, like and subscriber counts) and the aggregate metrics and scores we calculate are kept only for as long as those policies allow.
• Emails you send us are kept for as long as needed to respond and run the pilot, then deleted.

7. Your choices and rights

• Creators can ask us to stop tracking their channel and delete the data we hold about it.
• Commenters can ask us to delete their comments from our records. Because we only store a hash, send us your YouTube channel ID or handle so we can compute the matching hash and remove the associated records.
• Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal information, or to object to it. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Email hello@creator900.com with your request. We will respond within 30 days.

If we add sign-in with Google or YouTube in the future, you will be able to revoke Creator900's access at any time through the Google security settings page, and we will update this policy before launch.

8. Security

We protect data with access controls, encrypted connections and secret keys kept out of our code. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

Our service is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. Contact us if you believe we have.

10. International processing

We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws may differ from those where you live.

11. Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date. If changes are significant, we will give more prominent notice.
